Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Spheron 1

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spheron 1 was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was split between redirecting and deleting. I have left the redirect intact. —No-One Jones (m) 21:00, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Fictional planet mentioned in a single episode of Futurama. Article reads like an episode guide. Delete. Ian Pugh 18:10, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  1. Merge and redirect with Futurama (TV series - season 3)#War is the H-Word - someone may be linking to this (external or internal), or searching for it. -- Netoholic @ 18:37, 2004 Nov 8 (UTC)
  2. M/R to Futurama (TV series - season 3)#War is the H-Word siroχo 19:28, Nov 8, 2004 (UTC)
  3. Unlikely to ever conflict with real article names, redirect will help prevent recreation. -- Cyrius| 07:15, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  4. Merge/redir. What Cyrius said. Niteowlneils 21:05, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Delete
  1. Delete: It's a single planet, where the big balls live. There is no need for an episode guide misnamed as an article on the planet, no need for a discussion of the planet at all. If people want to know this, they can watch the show. They don't learn anything here they wouldn't that way. No discussion, no analysis, no context, and not on a topic known outside of its master topic. Geogre 05:03, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  2. Delete. Wrong side of the line. Wile E. Heresiarch 06:38, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  3. Delete. Is this an exercise in how many articles you can create on one TV series? I mean, I like the work of Matt Groening and his team, but I don't see the need for an in depth article on every little joke they make. Average Earthman 10:17, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  4. Delete. We don't catalog every thing ever mentioned on television. -R. fiend 20:02, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  5. Delete. Fancruft. --Improv 16:39, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete As much as I like Futurama. DOWN WITH FANCRUFT! --ExplorerCDT 01:30, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)
