The Genocidal Ideology of Gender Critical Ideology[edit]

"Transgender people of color can experience many different forms of discrimination simultaneously."[edit]

I think this line needs some work. It ridiculously implies that not everyone can experience many different forms of discrimination simultaneously. Uchiha Itachi 25 (talk) 23:52, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it is saying that at all. Nothing in this wording precludes other people also experiencing different forms of discrimination simultaneously. Saying A experiences X does not preclude B also experiencing X. It is perfectly reasonable to only mention A in the article about A and only mention B in the article about B. What we have here is a statement about transgender people of colour which doesn't say or imply anything about anybody else. As you say, it would be ridiculous to imply that trans people of colour are the only group where multiple different discriminations can intersect. It is pretty obvious to me that no such implication is being made. --DanielRigal (talk) 02:12, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Too focused on American transphobia?[edit]

I feel like this article tends to focus too heavily on transphobia in the United States compared to other countries. A few other countries are briefly mentioned in this section and I added a short section about an anti-trans law in Russia but apart from that it primarily focuses on US transphobia, the manifestations and consequences section in particular. Especially considering there already is an article for US transphobia specifically. Maybe adding statistics for other countries (such as in the UK) could be a good way to fix this?
